Temperatures are dropping in NYC. Looking for an alternative to the season’s usual monochromatic black, I decided to try something new but not too far off.
Based on color schemes we use in our designs (ADLS design), I picked a base color (burgundy) , a similar color in a brighter shade (pink) as an accent and a neutral (grey) to add a bit of interest and tie things up. If you want to experiment with colorful monochrome outfits mix slightly different shades and textures to add interest. In this case I used suade boots, velvet pants and a silk blouse in simillar tones. Make sure you add a pop and a neutral to soften the look. It makes your outfit more fun without having to make too much of an effort .
