FIRST DAY IN BERLIN – How to be a Stylish Turist

I had never been to Berlin before. I love it! It has a deliciously mellow vibe to it. Lots of cafes out in the end-of-summer sun, barely any music plays and people talk quietly, just relaxing and enjoying other´s company. Summer is just…easy in Berlin. My kinda place.

As it is my first visit to the city and I will only be here for a couple of days, I want to see as much as possible! My three must-see´s are

  1.  The main historic sites.
  2.  A couple of shops of local up-and-coming designers. As you know, I like searching for hidden local fashion & design gems.
  3. Do at least one TOP or quirky restaurant in town.

While I discover this beautiful city I want to feel comfortable but also look well put together (and avoid looking like a tourist) and I have found that basic jeans and a T work like a charm – as long as you style them accordingly, like throwing a nice jacket over your shoulders and carrying a colourful cross-over bag. Since there will be much walking a pair of classic sneakers (or fancy flats) will do the trick! So here it is, my suggested touristic outfit for Berlin.
