I had never been to Berlin before. I love it! It has a deliciously mellow vibe to it. Lots of cafes out in the end-of-summer sun, barely any music plays and people talk quietly, just relaxing and enjoying other´s company. Summer is just…easy in Berlin. My kinda place.
As it is my first visit to the city and I will only be here for a couple of days, I want to see as much as possible! My three must-see´s are
- The main historic sites.
- A couple of shops of local up-and-coming designers. As you know, I like searching for hidden local fashion & design gems.
- Do at least one TOP or quirky restaurant in town.
While I discover this beautiful city I want to feel comfortable but also look well put together (and avoid looking like a tourist) and I have found that basic jeans and a T work like a charm – as long as you style them accordingly, like throwing a nice jacket over your shoulders and carrying a colourful cross-over bag. Since there will be much walking a pair of classic sneakers (or fancy flats) will do the trick! So here it is, my suggested touristic outfit for Berlin.
If you want to see what people are wearing in this city I suggest the online BERLIN CITY edit 😉
